Santa came early this year and left 10 gifts: the ten songs you were missing from the Tempe 1980 show that was released on DVD or BluRay in the Ties That Bind boxset. Though those songs were not filmed, they were indeed recorded on audio, and they are available now for free download from the Live Bruce Springsteen website.

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band offered last Saturday Dec.19th their first public performance since the release of The Ties That Bind: The River Collection. They performed three songs at NBC’s Saturday Night Live: the live debut of «Meet Me In The City», the classic «The Ties That Bind» and the Christmas song «Santa Claus is Coming to Town», with an unexpected surprise: Paul McCartney guesting on the last song.

Bruce Springsteen will be interviewed today on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The show airs on NBC at 11.35pm EST. And this Saturday Bruce & The E Street Band will be the musical guests on Saturday Night Live, also on NBC (11.30pm EST).
