Jerry Lee Lewis’ new album includes duet with Springsteen

Jerry Lee’s new album, The Pilgrim, will see the light of day in March and will feature a spectacular array of guest stars. Bruce Springsteen is one of them and recorded with the Killer a duet on Bruce’s own «Pink Cadillac». Other artists who contributed their talent to the album (recorded in early 2005) include Nils Lofgren, Robbie Robertson, Little Richard, John Fogerty, Willie Nelson, Mick Jagger, Kris Kristofferson, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Rod Stewart, Toby Keith, Kid Rock and Ringo Starr.

Bruce sings at New York Guitar Festival

Last Saturday night, after a long ‘Nebraska tribute’ concert at the World Financial Center Winter Garden that featured many artists (including Dan Zanes, Laura Cantrell, Mark Eitzel, Me’Shell N’degeocello and others), Bruce Springsteen joined all the artists onstage for a final encore of Woody Guthrie’s «Oklahoma Hills».

Bruce at NYC party, new song?

The Boston Globe repots Bruce attended a party at Le Benardin in NYC for Jann Wenner’s 60th birthday, last sunday January 8th. Other attendees included David Bowie, John Mellencamp, Larry David, Al Gore, John Kerry and Michael Douglas. Apparently, Bruce performed a song «written for the occasion», but no more details have been given. Chek the Boston Globe’s report.
