«Bruce Springsteen: The Boss Revealed» Photo Exhibition in London

To coincide with the release of Bruce Springsteen’s new album Magic and his UK tour dates, Proud Galleries launches «Bruce Springsteen: The Boss Revealed» on 25th October, an exclusive exhibition of limited edition photography celebrating the iconic rock legend that is Bruce Springsteen. This will be a truly exciting exhibition and a rare chance to see «The Boss» both behind the scenes and doing what he does best, rocking out packed stadiums filled with enraptured audiences.

They’ve brought together 7 fantastic photographers, drawing on their personal experiences of working with The Boss to show as many different faces of Bruce Springsteen as possible, revealing the man and his music in a comprehensive collection that has never been seen before. This will be essential viewing for any Springsteen fan.

The photo exhibit will show pictures by Adrian Boot, René Van Diemen, Debra L. Rothenberg, Lynn Goldsmith, Jim Marchese, Terry O’Neil, Barry Plummer and Steve Rapport. Exhibition opens 26th October until 2nd December. Proud Central, 5 Buckingham Street, London.

Spirits over Chicago

With six different songs from the first night, Springsteen came back to the arena with the full E Street Band, including Patti Scialfa. Three tour premieres: «Tunnel of Love», «Spirit in the Night» and, as first encore, an audible «Thunder Road» (in the place of both «Girls» and «Thundercrack»). But it wasn’t just another tiring version of «Thunder Road». According to attendees, it was played with energy and dedicated to the young people in the audience (contrary to previous US tours, there seems to be quite a number of young new fans at these shows).

The handwritten set list (See) included «Darkness on the Edge of Town» and «I’ll Work For Your Love» (would have been a first), though they were dropped in favor of «Candy’s Room» and «Darlington County».
