Springsteen’s second show in North Carolina in a few days featured a 26-song set centered on hits and popular songs, featuring the tour debut of the wonderful Manfred Mann classic «Pretty Flamingo», a song Bruce used to play often from 1975 to 1978 (listen to his great live version from 1978).
Other highlights of the night were the returns of both «Growin’ Up» and «Brilliant Disguise». The show lasted, for the first time this year, less than 3 hours (2h 48m to be exact). Patti was back onstage for this show.
