With a simple «Coming November 25», Bruce Springsteen announced yesterday in his website that «High Hopes» is coming. We take for granted it’s a single, and it’s an advance of what’s coming (a new album, possibly in mid-January). Several Sony Music websites across Europe have announced the song will be available for digital download on that date. The song, written by Tim Scott, was originally recorded in 1987, and re-recorded in 1990 with his band The Havalinas. Bruce recorded a version with The E Street Band in 1995, which was published in 1986 in the Blood Brothers EP that was accompanying the VHS release of the Blood Brothers documentary.
