The first live show of the tour, at the mythical Apollo Theatre in New York City. That first and most emotional performance of «My City of Ruins», with its tribute to Clarence and Danny, was heard all over the world thanks to the Sirius Radio broadcast.
El primer concierto, en el mítico Apollo Theatre de Nueva York. Esa primera versión de «My City of Ruins» hizo derramar más de una lágrima la noche en que el concierto se transmitió en directo por radio e internet.

First and only band performance of «The Promise», in Washington. One of the greatest Springsteen songs ever, performed for the first time (with full band) in public since 1978. It was performed again in May in Seville, at the private rehearsal for the press (here’s the never-before seen video).
La primera y única versión con banda de «The Promise» en la gira, en Washington. Una de sus mejores canciones, en una versión que no tocaba en público desde 1978. La tocó luego en Sevilla, pero sólo en el ensayo privado el día antes del concierto oficial. Aquí tienes, por primera vez, imágenes de esa versión.

«Prove it all Night», with the 1978 intro! Enough said. You could have asked for an obscure outtake but even if your wildest dreams would we have imagined this. This was a moment of total awe, too good to be true, only it was true, it was happening. A magical moment for veteran fans.

Por muchos carteles que la gente haga, en la vida hubiéramos imaginado que veríamos algo como esto. Un momento absolutamente mágico y mítico vivido en el primer concierto en Barcelona.

Madrid broke the previous record (till then) and became Bruce’s longest show ever, lasting 3h 48 mins. It also brought two gems:: «Talk to Me» with surprise guest Southside Johnny, and the live debut of «Spanish Eyes».
Madrid batió records y se convirtió en el concierto más largo de la carrera de Springsteen. Duró 3 horas y 48 minutos (sólo superado por el concierto de Helsinki, un mes después, donde pasó de 4 horas). Esa noche, además, Bruce ofreció dos joyas: «Talk to Me» (con Southside Johnny de invitado) y el estreno mundial de «Spanish Eyes».
