Both photographers have worked closely with Springsteen, and his photographs have illustrated album covers, booklets and countless magazines. Frank Stefanko worked with Bruce between 1977 and 1982 (and later in 2005) and his are the pictures that illustrate the covers of both Darkness on the Edge of Town and The River. Danny Clinch has photographed (and filmed) Bruce since The Rising and has become Bruce’s photographer of choice in the last years.
The exhibition «From Darkness to a Dream» opens October 14th at the Morrison Hotel Gallery (116 and 124 Prince Street). The best work from both artists will be on display until mid-November, including previously unpublished photos.
