Si en Enero se publicó en Estados Unidos un CD recopilatorio para la cadena de supermercados Wal-Mart bajo el nombre de Greatest Hits, ahora le toca el turno a Europa. Coincidiendo con la gira europea, Sony editará el 2 de junio otro nuevo Greatest Hits, con portada distinta, y con seis canciones más («Blinded by the Light», «The River», «I’m On Fire», «Long Walk Home» y dos en directo: «Because the Night» y «Fire», extraídas de la caja Live 1975/85) respecto a la edición para Wal-Mart. Sony planea también editar una caja de 7CD conteniendo los discos en directo de Springsteen con la E Street Band editados hasta la fecha: Live 1975/85, Live in New York City y Hammersmith Odeon London ’75. La caja, bautizada como Tour Pack, se edita el 25 de mayo.
Antes de final de año se esperan muchas más noticias discográficas del artista, entre ellas la famosa caja dedicada al álbum Darkness on the Edge of Town así como otros proyectos, aún en preparación y no confirmados oficialmente, largamente esperados por los fans.

There’s no bigger rock classic than Richard’s Berry «Louie Louie», and Bruce and the band played it in full last night in Toronto, thanks to sign requests, along with «The E Street Shuffle» and «Prove it All Night». Minutes later «The Wrestler» was substituted by a long and beautiful rendition of «Racing in the Street», and the show ended with rousing versions of «Rosalita» and «Glory Days». For the second time on the tour, Jay Weinberg does not perform. Patti is absent, too.
