This year’s Record Store Day (to be celebrated April 21st) features two Springsteen-related releases.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The first one is Springsteen’s own Greatest Hits album on vinyl, now reissued for the first time on red vinyl. The second comes from John Wesley Harding, who under the title Greatest Other People’s Hits has put together covers of songs by his favorite artists, including two Springsteen songs («Jackson Cage» and «Wreck on the Highway»), with the particularity of having Bruce himself performing with Wesley on the second one.

El fantástico concierto de 1975 en el Hammersmith Odeon de Londres (anteriormente editado en CD y DVD) se publicará en una edición limitada en vinilo para el Record Store Day. En Estados Unidos será una tirada limitada de 3000 copias, mientras que en Europa se ha anunciado que será una edición numerada, aunque no se ha informado de la cifra de la tirada.

El cuádruple vinilo incluirá fotos y el texto escrito por Springsteen, y ofrecerá el concierto íntegro en sus 8 caras:

Record Store Day 2017: Hammersmith ’75 on vinyl

The fantastic 1975 show at London’s Hammersmith Odeon (previously on CD and DVD) will be released as a 4LP set on April 22nd, for Record Store Day. It will be a limited edition of 3,000 copies in the U.S., plus another numbered run in Europe, and also in Australia.

Record Store Day: vinilos remasterizados

La edición de este año del Día de la Tienda de Música (Record Store Day) no incluye nada inédito de Springsteen como solía ser habitual (el año pasado se publicó un EP de vinilo con 4 canciones inéditas: American Beauty).

En su lugar se publicarán de forma individual las re-ediciones remasterizadas en vinilo de los siete primeros discos del artista, originalmente sólo disponibles en la caja The Album Collection Vol. 1 1973-1984, publicada el pasado mes de noviembre.

Se trata pues de una oportunidad de conseguir tus discos favoritos de uno en uno, sin necesidad de comprar la colección completa, y a un precio más económico. Los discos se pondrán a la venta el próximo 18 de abril.
