Euro tour to end with two shows in Kilkenny, Ireland

Aiken Promotions has announced today that Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band will end their European tour with two shows in Kilkenny, Ireland, on July 27th and 28th, 2013. The shows will mark the end of a long Eurotour that will begin April 29th in Oslo, Norway.

The weekend will have a full supporting bill with performances on Sat 27th July from Glen Hansard and Damien Dempsey and on Sun 28th July from Imelda May and LAPD (featuring Liam O’Flynn, Andy Irvine, Paddy Glackin & Dónal Lunny). Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will then take to the stage both evenings.

Still pending are the dates for the shows in Spain, along with other possible countries like Greece or Israel (though these two fit more in the category of «just rumours»). Dates for Spain are expected to be announced soon.

Springsteen announces show in Finland

UPDATE 28/1: Second show added for May 8th 2013.

A new show has been added to the European tour schedule: at the HK Areena in Turku, Finland, May 7th, 2013.

Tickets for this event (the only city, along with Oslo, where he’ll play a small indoor arena in Europe) will go onsale January 28th at 9:00 via Live Nation, at a price of 99,50€.

Third Sydney show added

Bruce Springsteen has added a third date in Sydney, on March 22nd 2013. Tickets will go onsale Febr.4th thru Ticketek. Promoter Michael Gudisnki confirms there will be no further dates added to the Australian tour.

Tom Morello to sit in for Steve Van Zandt in March

According to the official Bruce Springsteen website, Steve Van Zandt’s commitments with the Lilyhammer series will keep him off the tour in March, so he will miss the Australian tour. Tom Morello will sit in temporarily on guitar. Steve will re-join the tour by the time it hits Europe in late April.
