Stockholm

Last night’s show in Stockholm featured the tour debut of «Jesus was an only son«. After this show the band takes a short break before returning on November 6th to play in Koln and begin the last leg of the Euro tour.

The day before, in Oslo, Bruce talked to the press during soundcheck time. The interview can now be seen online thru Norway’s TV2 website.

Oslo

Despite a car accident that involved one of Bruce’s trucks (nothing serious happened, fortunately) the show in Oslo went on as planned. A long set, with 23 songs including a 6-song encore which included both «Fire» and «Land of Hope and Dreams».

Santander & Copenhagen

After a delirious, spectacular show in Barcelona, Springsteen finished his spanish tour with a great show in Santander, the beautiful northern shore city. The audience took a while to get excited (for most people, except those in the front rows, it was probably their first ever Bruce show), but after «Jacob’s Ladder» everything changed and Bruce turned the audience into an ecstasy until the end of the show. «Froggie Went A-Courtin'» was a welcomed extra encore, dedicated to all the people in Spain. Though «Youngstown» was rehearsed once again during soundcheck time (like in every stop in Spain) it was not yet added to the show. Instead Santander got some excellent versions of «The Ghost of Tom Joad» and «Fire», plus a mesmerizing «You Can Look» with the fantastic new ending.

After a 2-day break which allowed the artist to enjoy Santander and a visit to Bilbao, Bruce & band performed last night in Copenhagen. The set list was quite similar to the recent show in Santander, with a 6-song encore.

Granada

Another spectacular performance in Granada. The audience was a bit quiet for the most part, but that didn’t stop Bruce and the band. «Love of the Common People» stayed on the set list (in the main set) and Bruce debuted an acoustic version of «The Promised Land» (guitar and harmonica, like in Paris ’88 -SOS Racisme concert-) with background vocals from Curtis King, Frank Bruno, Soozie Tyrell and Cindy Mizelle. The song was dedicated «to the people in Andalucia». «Youngstown», along with some other rarities, were rehearsed during the afternoon soundcheck.
