Springsteen & Browne’s ‘secret’ performance

Bruce & Jackson not only did perform on tuesday at the Two Rivers Theatre in Red Bank (we previously mistakenly reported the show was at the Count Basie Theatre, sorry). The previous day, monday June 11th, both attended a benefit dinner for World Hunger Year at the Lighthouse restaurant in New York. At the end of the dinner, Bruce joined Jackson and other musicians to play some guitar during Harry Chapin’s tune «Circle». Harry’s son, Tom, was one of the participants that night.

Bruce joined Jackson Browne onstage last night at the Two Rivers Theatre in Red Bank, NJ. The event was a benefit concert for the ALS association, and some minutes after 11pm Bruce went onstage to sing «Running on Empty» and «Will The Circle Be Unbroken» with Jackson.

«Live in Dublin» released worldwide

The High Definition «Live in Dublin» film was released yesterday worldwide. Available in a variety of formats (the most popular being the 2CD+DVD pack), the package includes 23 songs, filmed with nine cameras and recorded Nov, 17, 18 & 19, 2006 at The Point, in Dublin, Ireland. But there’s a couple of «secret» details:

-after the show ends, there’s an extra, unlisted track: Bruce and the Seeger Sessions Band rehearsing «Cadillac Ranch/Mystery Train» in the dressing room.
«Love of the Common People» is the only track not from Dublin, as it was actually taped at the concert at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Oct. 24th, 2006.
