The Mighty Max and his fabulous 15-piece Big Band are going on tour this month. With 12 dates scheduled in the U.S., the Max Weinberg Big Band’s tour will open at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ, with a benefit show for the PALS foundation (and rumours are spreading fast that a certain local hero might attend the event). Con su enorme banda de 15 músicos, Max Weinberg va a dar una gira por Estados Unidos en el mes de junio, que le llevará a doce ciudades. Para el inicio se ha reservado Nueva Jersey, su estado natal, donde el 11 de junio dará un concierto benéfico en el teatro Count Basie de Red Bank, a beneficio de la fundación PALS (creada por el difunto Terry Magovern, asistente personal de Springsteen). Springsteen Weekend at the Rock Hall
Hall of Fame Springsteen exhibit. Join us in Cleveland in just a few days, when we’re partnering with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum to present Springsteen Weekend, June 4 – 6. It’s three days of exhibit tours, film screenings, special programming, and more.
Attendees will get a major sneak peak at the new Hyde Park film, with a 90-minute cut shown on the big screen. (If you can’t make it to Cleveland, keep your eye on our schedule of other silver-screen showings around the country.) Un resumen de 90 minutos del concierto en Hyde Park se proyectará también en cines de varias ciudades norteamericanas durante el mes de junio, así como en Londres el 16 de junio en el Curzon Soho y el HMV Curzon Wimbledon. La recaudación de estas proyecciones irá a beneficio de la fundación de Danny Federici «Danny Fund/Melanoma Research Alliance». De dicha proyección se encarga la empresa Emerging Pictures, dirigida por Barry Rebo, fan y amigo de Springsteen, y autor de todas las filmaciones de conciertos de los años 70 que aparecen en el documental «Wings for Wheels».
