As announced weeks ago, Springsteen took a break from his Broadway show and went back to his musical hometown of Asbury Park, where he performed with the Tangiers Blues Band at the reopening of the Asbury Lanes nightclub.
After a speech (see official video below), he rocked the house with photographer Danny Clinch’s band, delivering blistering versions of «Rockin’ Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu» and «I Just Wanna Make Love To You», finishing up with long and hot classics «Down the Road Apiece» and «Twist and Shout».
