I Wanna Be With You

This uptempo love song was written in 1977 and recorded during sessions for the Darkness on the Edge of Town album. It was left aside along with dozens of other songs that didn’t fit into Bruce’s project. It was re-recorded in 1980 for The River and, again, left in the vault, until its release on Tracks in 1998. It made it onto the set list in Pittsburgh recently, after a 6 year hiatus (last known performance dates from May 2008 in Sunrise, Florida).
