Bruce joins Obama campaign and announces his first ever show in Mexico

Bruce Springsteen has confirmed this weekend three new appearances. The first two will take place shortly, next Thursday Oct. 18th, as Bruce will appear at two stops in the Obama campaign: Parma, OH and Ames, IA. “Bruce Springsteen’s values echo what the President and Vice President stand for: hard work, fairness, integrity,” said Jim Messina, Obama-Biden campaign manager. “His appearances will help with our get out the vote effort in these critical swing states and we are thrilled with his ongoing support.” President Bill Clinton will also join Bruce for his appearance in Ohio.

The third appearance will happen across the south border. Bruce will play in Mexico for the first time, and with The E Street Band. The show will be held at Mexico DF’s Palacio de Deportes on December 10th, with tickets going on sale Oct.24th thru www.ticketmaster.com.mx. It has been announced as «the final stop» of the 2012 tour, thus confirming the Wrecking Ball tour will go on with more shows in 2013.
