After a week off, Bruce Springsteen resumed the European tour in Frankfurt with a long 30-song set that lasted 3 hours and 21 minutes. The show featured tour debuts of «Summertime Blues» in the main set (sounding very much like the ’78 versions, right before «The Promised Land»), plus «Cadillac Ranch» and «Sherry Darling» in the extra long encores. Highlights included a great «Spirit in the Night» (during which Bruce sang to a cellphone which later threw back to the audience), «Darkness on the Edge of Town» and «Glory Days».
