Bruce Springsteen has landed in London today! The singer will be this evening at 6pm local time at the National Film Theatre in London, for the screening of The Promise documentary. Rumour has it he could also attend the screening in Rome this next Monday. Jon Landau is also scheduled for a press event next Tuesday Nov.2dn in Rome.
Furthermore, the promotion of the Darkness box-set will continue on Nov.15th with an exclusive interview with Dave Marsh at Sirius Radio, which 20 lucky fans will be able to attend, and ask questions to the Boss.
On the eve of the November 16 release of Bruce Springsteen’s The Promise, a 2-CD set of 21 newly released recordings from the Darkness On The Edge Of Town sessions, as well as The Promise: The Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story 3CD/3DVD deluxe box set, SiriusXM will broadcast a special 2-hour, live show – E STREET RADIO ON THE EDGE OF YOUR TOWN – featuring Bruce Springsteen!
SiriusXM wants to give YOU the exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to speak live and in person with Bruce Springsteen! You will have the chance to be able to ask Bruce a question about his forthcoming release – The Promise: The Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story. You will be part of the intimate studio audience. A select group of twenty (20) of Bruce’s biggest and most knowledgeable fans will have the opportunity to attend the event, which includes a post-show meet-and-greet with Bruce.
To qualify, SiriusXM will be asking E Street listeners to submit their most creative, original, insightful and relevant questions about Bruce Springsteen’s The Promise: The Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story for the opportunity to pose the question in person to Bruce Springsteen directly, at the event on the evening of November 15 in New York City, presented by SiriusXM host Dave Marsh. SiriusXM’s internal panel of judges – comprised of E Street Radio programmers and on-air talent – will choose the best questions that fall within their set judging criteria (see Official Rules).
Twenty (20) winners will win their own personal copy of The Promise: The Darkness On The Edge Of Town Story 3CD/3DVD deluxe box set and be invited to the official E STREET ON THE EDGE OF YOUR TOWN in-studio event.
The second hour of the special will be devoted entirely to E Street Radio callers – giving them the chance to speak to Bruce live as well.
