According to Broadway World, Springsteen might be considering extending the run until June 2018, though there’s no official confirmation yet.
“Bruce Springsteen is having the time of his life,” according to the report, which did not name a source.
Springsteen on Broadway is now a Broadway box oficce record, with grosses of $2,332,108 in its first week, with only 5 shows a week. Hamilton grossed more, because of their eight shows per week and a bigger theatre.

Según informa la web Broadway World, Springsteen podría estar considerando alargar su presencia en Broadway hasta el mes de junio, aunque no ha sido confirmado oficialmente por el momento. La satisfacción del artista con el desarrollo del espectáculo podría ser el motivo de la prórroga, que daría una nueva oportunidad a muchos fans que se quedaron sin entradas en las dos primeras ofertas.
Springsteen on Broadway ha superado ya el récord de taquilla de Hamilton, la afamada obra que lleva meses en la ciudad. En su primera semana Springsteen recaudó 2.332.108 dólares. Aunque Hamilton recaudó 2,8 millones de dólares en una semana, Springsteen supera el récord ya que ofrece cinco actuaciones por semana, mientras que Hamilton ofrece ocho (además el teatro de esta obra tiene 1300 asientos y el de Bruce solo 960).
El coste medio de una entrada para Springsteen on Broadway es de 496 dólares, la de Hamilton se mantiene en 310.
