Mientras los rumores en internet aumentan (en general, poco fiables y generalmente inventados, como los que hasta hace muy poco hablaban de una gira en pabellones europeos en abril) hoy llega la primera pista de lo que podría ser la gira española. El diario Noticias de Gipuzkoa informa hoy que Donostia podría ser una de las ciudades candidatas. Si damos por supuesto que Bruce tocará en Barcelona y Madrid, podrían ser tres los estadios que acogieran en España la gira The River Tour 2016, entre mayo y julio.

Teniendo en cuenta la fecha confirmada del 19 de mayo en Lisboa, parece obvio que alrededor de esa fecha podría haber conciertos en España (la liga de fútbol finaliza en domingo 15 de mayo, con lo cual los estadios quedan libres). En cualquier caso es prudente esperar a que llegue un anuncio oficial por parte del artista o el promotor de sus conciertos, ya que los itinerarios y planes de gira cambian a menudo por necesidades logísticas, hasta que son confirmados oficialmente.

After the snowstorm that forced the postponement of the first show at Madison Square Garden (now re-scheduled for March 28th) Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band brought The River Tour 2016 to New York. After «Meet Me In The City» and the full performance of the 20 songs off The River (improving night to night), there was a rocking trifecta with «She’s the One», «Candy’s Room» (tour debut) and «Because the Night».

El domingo se canceló el primer concierto en el legendario Madison Square Garden de Nueva York (la nueva fecha para el mismo es el 28 de marzo), pero ayer, libres ya de las inclemencias del tiempo, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band llevaron hasta Nueva York su The River Tour 2016. Sonó el disco al completo, tras la arrancada con «Meet Me In The City», como cada día de la gira, seguida de impetuosas versiones de «She’s the One» o «Candy’s Room» (estreno en esta gira).

Bruce Springsteen amp The E Street Band The River Tour_zps8ge8kvvkThe second leg of the US tour has been announced today, with 14 new concert that will feature the full performance of The River album. The postponed show at Madison Square Garden has been re-scheduled for March 28th.

A show at the Rock in Rio festival in Lisbon has also been confirmed, the first of the upcoming Summer/Spring European tour that will feature stadium shows in multiple cities until July. The European are expected to be announced at a later date.
