Clarence Clemons tiene nuevo disco con su grupo Temple of Soul. Titulado «Brothers in Arms», el álbum recién editado se aleja del rock que Clarence practica con la E Street Band y le acerca a la música negra, con funk y soul a raudales, en compañía de los miembros que forman este supergrupo: Narada Michael Walden (productor de prestigio con 3 premios Grammy), Vernon Ice Black (guitarrista de Herbie Hancock y Santana) y TM Stevens (bajista de James Brown y Joe Cocker). Garry W. Tallent, insigne bajista de la E Street Band, ha concedido una entrevista a la revista norteamericana Bass Player en la cual habla de su carrera, sus bajistas favoritos (James Jamerson, Jaco Pastorius y Rick Danko -de The Band-), sus canciones favoritas («Point Blank» y «Saint in the City»), sus grabaciones con otros artistas (incluyendo el reciente, y excelente, álbum de Jim Lauderdale «Honey Songs») y los planes de futuro con Bruce:

«tenemos nuevo material grabado para llenar un álbum, pero sin noticias sobre su edición o una gira futura».

Garry W. Tallent, E Street’s bass player, has been interviewed recently by Bass Player magazine. During the interview he talks about his favourite bass players (James Jamerson, Jaco Pastorius and Rick Danko -The Band-), his favourite songs («Point Blank» and «Saint in the City»), his recordings with other artists and, here’s the Bruce bit, his future plans with Springsteen:

«The tour with Bruce goes through the summer. We have another album’s worth of material recorded, but no word yet on a release or future tours«.
