The MusiCares foundation will pay tribute to Bruce when he’s honored as the 2013 MusiCares Person of the Year next February 8th in Los Angeles. The impressive list of participans/performers in the event include Neil Young, Mumford & Sons, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, Jim James, Tom Morello, Patti Smith, Emmylou Harris, Sting and others. The show will be broadcast live on CBS.
Two days later the Staples Center will hold the Grammy Awards gala. Bruce has been nominated in three categories: Best Rock Performance (for «We Take Care of Our Own») and Best Rock Song (for the same song), plus Best Rock Album (for Wrecking Ball).

La fundación MusiCares fue creada por la Recording Academy y su objetivo es dar ayuda de emergencia a músicos y apoyar programas educativos y sanitarios. El evento del 8 de febrero será transmitido en directo por la cadena CBS.
