A petición del público Bruce cantó ayer «Terry’s Song», la canción en memoria de Terry Magovern, su amigo y mano derecha, fallecido en 2007. Anteriormente la había cantado sólo en una ocasión, en 2009. El concierto de Hamilton tuvo un repertorio estándar de la gira, aunque con alguna sorpresa, como «I’m Goin’ Down» o una impetuosa «I’m A Rocker» como primer bis, además de «Rosalita». La curiosidad: «Because the Night» incluyó una introducción de guitarra, como hacía en la gira de 1978.

La gira de otoño de Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band en pabellones deportivos norteamericanos arrancó con un gran concierto en Ottawa, Canadá. Más de tres horas de concierto donde sonaron piezas del calibre de «Prove it All Night» (versión 1978), «Candy’s Room» o «Drive All Night», junto al estreno en la gira (en formato acústico y a petición de un fan) de «Queen of the Supermarket». Durante «Darlington County» Bruce subió a la grada para cantar con una fan, y Nils le acompañó en su paseo entre el público. El próximo concierto tendrá lugar en Hamilton, Canada, esta noche de domingo.
El martes Bruce aprovechará su visita a Charlottesville, Virginia (actúa en el pabellón John Paul Jones Arena) para apoyar de nuevo la campaña de Obama, con una concierto acústico en el nTelos Wireless Pavilion de la misma ciudad, durante el miting político del candidato presidencial.

Once again Bruce will play for Obama next Tuesday, when he’ll perform a special acoustic concert Tuesday afternoon at 2pm in the nTelos Wireless Pavilion in Charlottesville, VA.
Tickets for the free concert will be available beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Obama campaign offices on UVa.’s Corner and the Downtown Mall. They will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Bruce will be performing later that night with the E Street Band at the John Paul Jones Arena.
