Bruce Springsteen said goodbye to Italy today with a third show in the country, in Trieste, near the border with Eslovenia and Croatia. Highlights included the returns of «Downbound Train», «Because the Night» (with Steve Van Zandt doing the guitar solo), «Youngstown», «Murder Incorporated», «Johnny 99» and the «Apollo Medley», plus a spectacular duo formed by «Thunder Road» and «Rosalita» to close the main set.

The encores have started with a powerful «Born in the U.S.A.» (no «Rocky Ground» this time), followed by the regular greatest hits  (including «Born to Run» –with Elliott Murphy guesting-, «Dancing in the Dark» and «Hungry Heart») and «Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out» to close after three hours and twenty minutes onstage.

Bruce Springsteen se ha despedido hoy de Italia con un tercer y último concierto, en Trieste, en la frontera junto a Eslovenia y Croacia. Para la ocasión ha recuperado «Downbound Train», «Because the Night» (con solo de guitarra a cargo de Steve Van Zandt en esta ocasión), «Youngstown», «Murder Incorporated», «Johnny 99» y «Apollo Medley», además del espectacular duo formado por «Thunder Road» y «Rosalita» para cerrar el concierto.

Los bises ha empezado con la siempre poderosa «Born in the U.S.A.», inflamando al público, antes de continuar con una ristra de sus mayores éxitos (incluyendo «Born to Run» -con Elliott Murphy de invitado-, «Dancing in the Dark» y «Hungry Heart») y finalizar con «Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out» tras tres horas y veinte minutos de concierto.

Another marathon performance, another extra long show in Italy last night. In Florence Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band have been onstage for 3 hours and a half. From the initial «Badlands» til the unexpected closing with «Who’ll Stop The Rain?», fans have watched the show under a heavy rain storm.

The show has featured the tour debuts of «Be True», with Ed Manion on the sax solo, and «Burning Love» (both rehearsed during the soundcheck in San Sebastian). Before «Jack of All Trades» Bruce mentioned the recent earthquake in Italy. The show has included also «No Surrender», «Trapped», «Prove it All Night», «Backstreets» and the «Apollo Medley».

Otro marathon, otro larguísimo concierto en Italia. Hoy, en Florencia, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band han estado 3 horas y media sobre el escenario. Desde el inicial arranque con «Badlands» hasta el inesperado cierre con «Who’ll Stop The Rain?», en un concierto donde la intensa lluvia ha compartido protagonismo con el cantante de Nueva Jersey.

Aunque Patti llegó a Italia el día después del concierto en Milán, no ha subido al escenario en Florencia, donde Bruce ha estrenado «Be True», con solo de saxo a cargo de Ed Manion, y «Burning Love» (ambas la ensayó en San Sebastián durante las pruebas de sonido, aunque no llegó a incluirlas en el concierto). Antes de «Jack of All Trades» Bruce ha recibido una ovación por su mención al reciente terremoto en Italia. El concierto ha incluido también «No Surrender», «Trapped», «Prove it All Night», «Backstreets» y el «Apollo Medley».
