Después de una semana de descanso en Estados Unidos, Bruce Springsteen reinició ayer su gira europea en Frankfurt con un larguísimo concierto de 3 horas y 21 minutos, con 30 canciones, el más largo de la gira hasta el momento. El concierto incluyó los estrenos en la gira de «Summertime Blues» (la canción de Eddie Cochran que solía hacer en la gira de 1978, y la tocó de forma muy parecida), «Cadillac Ranch» y «Sherry Darling» (en la larga tanda de bises). Otros temas destacados del concierto incluyeron «Spirit in the Night» (durante la cual Bruce coge el teléfono de un fan que le pasa una llamada, canta al teléfono y luego lo lanza de vuelta al público), «Darkness on the Edge of Town» o «Glory Days».

After a week off, Bruce Springsteen resumed the European tour in Frankfurt with a long 30-song set that lasted 3 hours and 21 minutes. The show featured tour debuts of «Summertime Blues» in the main set (sounding very much like the ’78 versions, right before «The Promised Land»), plus «Cadillac Ranch» and «Sherry Darling» in the extra long encores. Highlights included a great «Spirit in the Night» (during which Bruce sang to a cellphone which later threw back to the audience), «Darkness on the Edge of Town» and «Glory Days».
