Nuevos discos con Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen acaba de editar un nuevo disco, Working on a dream, pero pronto su música aparecerá en varios discos benéficos o de otros artistas:

–«Odd Squad and Company – On the Beat Vol. II»
Disco benéfico para el proyecto Odd Squadd, de la policía de Vancouver. Leer más. Incluye «Point Blank».

–Bernie Williams «Moving Forward»
El nuevo disco de Bernie Williams incluye la versión en directo de «Glory Days» que cantó junto al propio Springsteen en el concierto benéfico ‘Joe Torre’s Safe at Home’ en noviembre de 2007. Leer más. Se edita: 14 abril.

-«Bushfire Aid: Artists for the Bushfire Appeal» (Sony Music/Australia) Se edita: 20 de febrero. Incluye «The Rising», junto a canciones de Billy Joel, Beyoncé, Paul Kelly, Rose Tattoo, The Hoodoo Gurus, Midnight Oil y otros. El dinero recaudado va a parar la Salvation Army Bushfire Appeal, para paliar los efectos de los recientes incendios en Australia.

Recomendamos visitar la excelente web Boss tracks, donde se puede leer un interesante artículo (con entrevista incluida) sobre el genial cantante de soul Eddie Floyd, autor de clásicos como «Raise your hand» y «Knock on wood». En la entrevista Eddie recuerda el día que cantó esas canciones con Bruce en el concierto que éste dio en Memphis en 1976, la misma noche en que visitó Graceland y saltó la verja de la casa de Elvis.

Bruce Springsteen has just released a brand new album, Working on a dream, but he’ll be featured also in some other albums very soon:

–«Odd Squad and Company – On the Beat Vol. II»
This is a benefit published by Odd Squadd. Read more. Includes «Point Blank».

–Bernie Williams «Moving Forward»
Includes a live version of «Glory Days» recorded with Springsteen himself at the Joe Torre’s Safe at Home benefit concert in November 2007. Read more. To be released: April 14th.

-«Bushfire Aid: Artists for the Bushfire Appeal» (Sony Music/Australia) Released: Febr.20th. Includes «The Rising», plus tracks by Billy Joel, Beyoncé, Paul Kelly, Rose Tattoo, The Hoodoo Gurus, Midnight Oil and others. All money raised from the release will go directly to the Salvation Army Bushfire Appeal.
