Amsterdam: Summertime Blues

Llega el verano. 28 canciones, ¡8 bises! Inicio con «Out in the Street». Salto al público con «Spirit in the Night». «The River», «Backstreets». Tres estrenos en la tanda de bises: «Summertime Blues» (un clásico de Eddie Cochran que no tocaba desde 1981), «Stand on it» y «Seven Nights to Rock».

Todo esto ha ocurrido esta noche, en el concierto de Amsterdam, seguramente el concierto más largo hasta el momento, y uno de los más intensos. Ver set list completo.

Mientras tanto, en el Kennedy Center de Washington se celebró un homenaje al periodista Tim Russert, amigo de Springsteen fallecido recientemente. Durante la ceremonia se proyectó un vídeo donde Springsteen se une al homenaje cantando «Thunder Road» acompañado de su guitarra, posiblemente en directo desde el backstage del Amsterdam Arena.

Nuevo concierto anunciado para Agosto

Live Nation ha anunciado hoy que Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band tocarán en agosto en Hershey Park, Pennsylvannia. Este es el tercer concierto para el mes de agosto que se anuncia, tras el de Boston (2 de agosto) y Milwaukee (30 de agosto). Se espera que pronto se anuncien más conciertos.

Tonight’s show in Düsseldorf had an abrupt start: the sound went completely off during the first song («Jackson Cage»). Just a few minutes later, the same incident would happen in the middle of «Radio Nowhere», which had to be stopped.

When the sound problems were over, the show went on without further disturbances and featured a very diverse set list, which included «Spirit in the Night», «Darlington County», «Trapped», «The River» or «Glory Days».

Again a very long show, with nearly three hours in length and the biggest amount of songs played at a show on this tour so far: 28!

Both «None But the Brave» and «Backstreets» were setlisted but not performed, finally substituted by «Working on the Highway» and «The River».

Concierto en Düsseldorf

El concierto de hoy en Düsseldorf ha tenido un inicio atropellado: por dos veces se ha detenido por problemas con el equipo de sonido. En ambas ocasiones el escenario ha quedado completamente mudo al fallar el sonido.

Ha ocurrido durante «Jackson Cage», canción que iniciaba el concierto, y durante «Radio Nowhere» unos minutos después. Finalmente se ha retomado el concierto sin más problemas, y han sonado canciones de todas las épocas como «Spirit in the Night», «Darlington County», «Trapped», «The River» o «Glory Days».

Ha sido otra noche larga, de casi tres horas de música y un total de 28 canciones (el más largo de la gira en cuanto a canciones). El set list manuscrito incluía «None But the Brave» y «Backstreets», finalmente sustituidas por «Working on the Highway» y «The River».
