And shake it he did. Just look at the set lists changes: «The Ties That Bind», «Be True», «I’ll Work For Your Love» and two tour debuts: «Buffalo Gals» and «Detroit Medley».
Once again the show starts with 4 songs (incl. «Be True») before «Gypsy Biker», and the «Reason / She’s the One» sandwitch includes 2 songs («Night» and «Because the Night»). Plus… a 7-song encore!»

In Bruce’s words: «Rochester number one!». And so it was. A tremendous set list and performance the night «Rosalita» came back to life and made its first tour appearance.
A lady in the front row had a «Rosalita, please» sign that Bruce spotted. «Gimme that sign» he said, and moments later the band launched into the song. But that wasn’t the only highlight. The show opened with «Night» and included thunderous performances of «Jackson Cage», «Because the Night» followed by «Loose Ends» followed by «She’s the One». Later in the set it was time for a rarity: «Racing in the Street».

A petición popular volvió una de las canciones más emblemáticas de Springsteen: «Rosalita». Una chica en primera fila con un letrero de «Rosalita, please» fue la que motivó que el cantante se dirigiera a ella, le pidiera «dame ese letrero» y tocara la canción (en lugar de las previstas «Kitty’s Back» y «Dancing in the Dark»). Esa fue la guinda del pastel en un concierto de gran intensidad y candidato ya a ser uno de los mejores de la gira. Arrancó con «Night», incluyó «Jackson Cage» tras «Lonesome Day», y llegados al sandwitch entre «Reason to Believe» y «She’s the One» hubo doble ración de rock, con la espectacular versión de «Because the Night» seguida de «Loose Ends».
La parte central del concierto (reservada a ‘rarezas’, aunque últimamente no tanto) incluyó «Racing in the Street», y en los bises el ya mencionado debut de «Rosalita» en la gira Magic. Bruce despidió el concierto con el grito «Rochester number one!». Esta noche habrá concierto en Buffalo, NY.
