El 7 de noviembre Bruce dará en Nueva York un concierto benéfico para la fundación Bob Woodruff Family Fund. El objetivo: recaudar fondos para las familias con soldados heridos.

Y para ello se ha involucrado en distintos frentes. Además del concierto benéfico, se subasta la oportunidad de conocer personalmente al artista, tomarse una copa en el backstage y ver las pruebas de sonido y el concierto, en la ciudad que se elija de la gira 2007. Para eso hay que pujar en la web de Charity Folks, y de momento la puja está ya en 70.000 dólares.

Pero hay más. Springsteen ha cedido una de sus motos Harley Davidson, que se subastará via la web y en directo en el concierto benéfico. La moto es de 1991 y con ella el artista ha recorrido casi 15.000 kilómetros. El ganador recibirá la Harley de Springsteen, autografiada. Por el momento el mayor postor ha ofertado 15.000 dólares en la web de la subasta.

«Jackson Cage» made its debut last night, right before «She’s the One», in stunning back to back. Later in the set, and finally, «I’ll Work For Your Love» was premiered, and it sounded real good, leaving only «You’ll Be Coming Down» off Magic waiting to be debuted on the tour.

And last… and least… already in the encores, a surprising ‘audible’: «Ramrod» substituted the set listed «Kitty’s Back». Oh, well… not every debut can be perfect.

The Magic tour visited Cleveland yesterday, with a stunning performance which included two tour premieres: «It’s hard to be a saint in the city» and «Be True». Plus, still on the set: «Tunnel of Love» and the extraordinary «Kitty’s Back».
