Springsteen auctions guitar, jacket and bike at benefit concert

Bruce Springsteen sang 3 songs yesterday ("The Promised Land", "Thunder Road" and "The Rising") at the 2nd "Stand Up For Heroes" benefit show organized by the Bob Woodruff Fund to help injured Iraq War Veterans.

After his acoustic set, Bruce auctioned his acoustic guitar, his leather jacket and his '94 Harley Davidson bike. The guitar was sold for $50,000. Bruce played to the tune of "Johnny B.Goode" while it was being auctioned by Whoopi Goldberg. The bike and the leather jacket fetched $75,000. "I've cleaned out my garage" said Bruce, who also told some jokes during the event.
