Springsteen on Ennio Morricone Tribute

Bruce Springsteen has contributed an instrumental version of "Once Upon a Time in the West" to the recently released tribute album "We All Love Ennio Morricone". Springsteen has been a fan of Morricone's work for years. During The River tour, the song he has now recorded was used as an intro to "Badlands", and the original Morricone version was heard each night at the end of every Tom Joad show during 1996/97. Both the Boss and the Maestro met during that tour's stop in Rome, in 1996.
