Billboard has published this week an interesting Q&A with Bruce Springsteen, where he talks about his last ten years on the road, the full-album performances and the future of the E Street Band.

"...on the night of Feb. 2, 1975, I turned on WMMR in Philadelphia and became mesmerized by a concert the radio station was broadcasting. The concert was by a group I’d never heard of — Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Thus began a part of my second education".

"Then it was show time, Bruce, The E Street Band, Jon Landau and I get in a circle and hold hands backstage. Bruce then says, and I quote: “I wouldn’t want to be anywhere in the world than here with you guys at this moment”. Bruce and The E Street Band turn and take the stage to the screams of their devoted fans and begin what was to be a most memorable concert from my prospective".
