Down in... New York City

As usual, the second night in a row proves to be a special night. Night #2 at the Garden featured another hot performance, with two great tour debuts: "Meeting Across the River" followed by "Jungleland", with Clarence Clemons nailing the sax solo. Many guests at the show, some on the audience (DJ Howard Stern or singer Bette Midler), and some onstage, like a good part of the Seeger Sessions Band who joined the E Street Band, for "American Land", with Lisa Lowell (vocals), Jeremy Chatzky (bass), Larry Eagle (percussion), Charlie Giordano (piano) and Greg Liszt (banjo).
The handwritten set list included "Cadillac Ranch" (finally subtituted for "You Can Look" ) and "Ramrod"... in place of "Thundercrack"! Fortunately, "Thundercrack" stayed on his encore spot (will this still happen when the tour reaches Europe? This is a bad sign...).
See full set list.
