Tower Theatre 31/12/1975 now available

A fantastic concert with superb sound, mixed by Toby Scott directly from the original 16-track tapes that was recorded outside the theatre by Jimmy Iovine using the Record Plant Remote unit.

tick536Bruce performed 4 nights at these theatre in Upper Darby, close to Philadelphia, in the last days of 1975, during the Born to Run tour (see extensive info at Brucebase). The show published today is the last one, recorded on pass262New Year’s Eve 1975, blasting off with “Night” and featuring a unique slowed-down version of “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out”, tour standards “She’s the One”, “Born to Run”, “Backstreets” and “Jungleland”, plus a bunch of covers including “It’s My Life”, “Mountain of Love”, “Quarter to Three”, “Pretty Flamingo” and “Twist and Shout”.
